Wise released
February 8, 2007 – 3:28 pm by alessio e stefanoOne of the first posts of this blog was about the reason why we decided to develope a generic webservices client called Wise for our personal use.
We refactored it and developed an interface based on Jboss Seam and Apache Trinidad (aka ADF) to make it easier to use for non-programmer people and to give us the opportunity to play a little with Seam.
The result of this refactoring seems good to us, and we think it could be useful for a lot of people. For these reasons we decided to release an alpha (or pre-alpha if you prefer) of Wise with LGPL licence.
You can get more details, download code and binaries and last but not least give it a try with an online demo on our new site www.javalinuxlabs.org
For the laziest people here is a brief description taken from www.javalinuxlabs.org:
Wise is an acronym: Wise Invoke Services Easy.
In a nutshell it is a web application designed to call a generic web-service given the wsdl only. Wise parses the wsdl and dynamically generates a web interface to call the service and read the result.
